Spain Visit Day 3.

Today was a long day at school.  Little did we know when we woke up this morning, all that they had in store for us today.  Firstly, we went the correct way to school and got there on time - well done Miss Smith. Straight away we went back into lessons, but we swapped classes so we could be with different children today.  We understood the year 7 maths lesson!

After this we had a quiz about what we had learnt
yesterday about Zaragoza.

The winners will receive a special certificate which will
be presented on our final day.
We´ll let you know who won!!

Before lunch we visited the Zaragoza museum and Carlos told us even more about Agustina de Aragon and the (gory) history of Zaragoza and the War of Independence against the French in 1808.

It was really interesting and the Miss Smiths were really impressed with the questions we asked.  Thank you also to the Spanish mums who helped organise this visit for us (and the Kinder Egg Surprises!!!)

We just realised this evening that we haven´t shown you a picture of us eating lunch in the school cantine.  Check out these metal trays!  To be honest, we were all a little bit scared of eating the soup, but in fact it was really nice!  We wonder what they might think of our school dinners, even though we know they taste good!

Mr Forshaw modelling to us how to eagerly enjoy school dinners.  What a good example Mr Forshaw!

Another 2 hour lunch break....lots of time to make more
friends.
