WOW experiences this term:

The visit to The National Space Centre Tuesday 9th March was a great success. The children really enjoyed themselves. A big thank you to the parents that helped on the day. Over the next few weeks we will be using the enthusiasm of the children generated by the visit to be creative in all areas of the curriculum. Please look at some of the pictures taken at the Space Centre this year.
The Quantum theatre company gave a performance helping children understood Materials in Science, from the different types of materials we use e.g. metals, plastics, wood to how liquids change when heated and frozen.
Following on from the success of the Theatre performance with Science we are hoping to invite them to do a Mathematical performance throughout the school.

Useful things to bring in: cereal and other boxes (tubes, shoe boxes etc.) for modelling, pictures of rockets and robots.
